Murwa was founded by Ruan Nortje after repeatedly seeing two kinds of travellers in Kruger.
Those packed into large group tours with little control over their experience.
And those travelling alone, trying to navigate unfamiliar places without enough local support.
He believed there was a better middle ground:
Ruan holds a Professional Hunter qualification and brings familiarity with the South African bush environment to the Murwa experience.
His goal isn't simply to take guests from one place to another. It's to help them experience South Africa in a way they'll still be talking about when they're back home.
