Murwa was founded by Ruan Nortje after repeatedly seeing two kinds of travellers in Kruger: people packed into large groups racing from one place to another, and independent travellers trying to navigate unfamiliar places without enough local support.
He saw room for something more personal — a private journey where the important travel details are coordinated, but the experience still feels like your own.
Ruan holds a Professional Hunter qualification and brings familiarity with the South African bush environment to Murwa experiences.
